While in Boston, we walked around the city and enjoyed the hot summer sun. I really enjoyed seeing all the old churches and shopping on Newberry St. We waked through The Public Garden, which was so pretty! So much to take pictures of.

The town of South Yarmouth, MA, Nick’s friends & family reaffirmed what I now know to be true: Amidst the darkest of tragedies, there is light. The capacity of humans to rise out of the ashes when all seems lost and erect meaning, service & fellowship towards one other is unwavering. All is not lost.
This 4th of July, my love Dan and I spent a few days in Door County, WI with some friends. It was such a blast! In true Tara fashion, I just HAD to go on a photo expedition, so, Dan and I scoured the peninsula in search of its unique little gems of ooey goodness! We visited barns, antique shops, bakeries, a cherry farm and the famous Al Johnsons Pancake House (the one with the goats on top).
Fast forward 6 years and here I stand… a lady of 29, excited to be able to do EVERYTHING I ever wanted to do: change the world, be creative and make art! My photography allows me to play around with virtually any concept I can think of and lately I’ve really been feeling fashion trends of the past and present.
Last week I saw a lovely lady who recently moved back to Chicago from NYC. It was nostalgic talking to her about her time there & brought up a lot of fun and crazy memories for me. I knew then and there I wanted to photograph her and try to re-capture some of those blissful NYC vibes.
