Joanna (of Joanna B. Artistry) and I have been dreaming of 2014 wedding trends for months now. After many coffee and cocktail dates, we decided to plan a fun-filled day where we photographed some of our favorite looks. We pulled together some AMAZING vendors, helpful hands and styling gurus to create three unique looks.
First off, we wanted to create a themed shoot featuring the 2014 Pantone Color of the year, radiant orchid. Inspired by the thought of spring (in the dead of winter) we wanted to portray a colorful boho-chic look that exuded the touch and scents of spring.
This GORGEOUS wedding dress by Palazzo inspired us to showcase a sophisticated wedding look with a regal feel. Glenview Jewelers provided us with gorgeous pieces that complimented the Palazzo dress perfectly & the bridesmaids dresses from Sahar Dada added a fun and flirty edge to the bride’s theme. Touches of gold & glitter accents provided a fancy ambiance that fit so well with the rich blue elements of this look.
BHLDN’s classy champagne flutes fit perfectly into the table-scape designed by Marthette Vintage. To take it to the next level, Luscious Layers Bakery provides a DELICIOUS and gorgeous sweets table that left us all with a sweet tooth. So yummy! The champagne cake pops were to DIE FOR!!! And as always, the flowers Fleur du Jour provided brought the whole look together.
It has been SO LONG since I last blogged! So much has been happening for me and I am so happy to be back in the swing of things. As I try and catch up on the summer’s blog posts I would like to share this fun and love-filled wedding I shot in June.
Devon & John are AMAZING! I have spent a lot of time with them and gotten to see just how in LOVE they are and also how LOVED they are by their friends and family.

This adorable ‘Old Irving Park’ wedding is brought to you by Ryan & Claire. Their ceremony was at a quaint local church and the brunch-time reception was held at The Irish American Heritage Center. Claire did a wonderful job with the details of the wedding. That doughnut cake looked SO DELICIOUS! They had an spectacular make-your-own bloody mary & mimosa table, a delicious brunch buffet and adorable Irish knick-knacks on the tables.
